Team Purple took on Isle Listen’s Tough Mucka 2026, flying the flag for Conister Bank!
On Sunday 4 October, colleagues embraced mud, obstacles and more than a few slippery hills as they joined hundreds in support of Isle Listen. As Headline Sponsor, we're proud to be part of an event that brings people together for all the right reasons: teamwork, encouragement, resilience and community spirit.
The team threw themselves into the mud, tackling every crawl, climb, jump and obstacle the course could throw at them, while others volunteered their time behind the scenes, cheering participants on, lending a helping hand and helping make the day a success.
Of course, Tough Mucka is about far more than muddy trainers and aching muscles. Every obstacle tackled and every finish line crossed helped support the incredible work of Isle Listen, raising vital funds and awareness for mental health.
What stood out most wasn't the mud or even the obstacles. It was the encouragement. Strangers helping each other over obstacles, volunteers keeping spirits high, and participants digging deep when their legs were telling them otherwise. That's what makes Tough Mucka special, and it's why the event means so much to so many people. This was never just about getting from start to finish; it was about people looking after one another along the way.
A huge thank you to our friends at Isle Listen, along with the many volunteers and organisers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring the event to life. Events like this don't happen without people willing to muck in, and it was fantastic to see so many colleagues, friends and family members getting involved.
We left with muddy trainers, aching muscles and plenty of laughs. Most importantly, we left proud to have played a small part in such an energetic event all for a great cause.
